Door decor for $50

Heres how you change a simple boring entry door to pretty..that too under $50

I got a stool from craigslist and few cute accessories from Michaels. A lamp and a holder from Pier1. For the sign board, I wanted to try something creative and no very expensive. I buy a lot of things from amazon and they all come with good packing. I picked up one of those card boards.

Spray painted it in red color

Let it dry for sometime ...used my paint that I will use for my wall ..wrote welcome on it in my own way ;-)

I made holes and a thread to hang on the door

Accessorised the rest of the place with

Added a pebble door mat and hung the sign board on the door

and Finally you get this look. Tadaaaaaa

Street light

We (me and few friends) had dinner at our office party whcih was very boring. We wanted to get out and have a real party. So we went to a wine bar (best in town) and on my way I saw this beautiful street light. It was fire and not a electrical bulb. It was soo different!!

After all this am I allowed to say I am in love with europe and ought to go there every year atleast twice :) :) alright atleast once!?! :D

Turquoise is one color that undoubtedly makes you feel relaxed. Turquoise beach, turquoise pool with turquoise interior = ??? I will let you fill that part :-) Now enjoy the lovely hawaii resort pool area..

Last walk...

I was tired walking around looking for swedish design, my feet hurt. I just wanted to go back to the hotel and crash  as I had an early flight to catch. Ok thats a lie..i did stop at few places to check out some dress..womennnn!! ahem..ahem.. moving on... I came out of the store, looked the beautiful city, I had no idea when I would come back to enjoy this beauty. The streets were well lit...surprisingly the swedish govt waited for me to visit before they took down the xmas decoration! It was bright and festive everywhere...I started walking back and felt the fresh snow on my face...it was beautiful...I was freezing but it didnt bother me....I couldnt go back....I took one last walk in the streets before I returned!

The decorations on the trees were the one that grabbed by attention (apologise..I really have a bad camera)

Its 23F outside. No one can recognise me or appreciate my beautiful dress as its burried under layers an my 50pound jacket....I can barely see beyond 10feet.. This is all I could think now...SUMMERRRR
